       Welcome to Phi Theta Kappa at Inver Hills College.  Our chapter is one of over1200 across the nation and several other countries, making Phi Theta Kappa the largest honor society in the world. 

        Our Inver Hills chapter--Alpha Omicron Beta--is among the five largest and most awarded among the 60 chapters in our four-state region of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North and South Dakota.  We generally have about two hundred members or more at any given time, all of whom are eligible upon transfer for additional Phi Theta Kappa scholarships, often automatically just because of their membership, at over 600 colleges and universities throughout the country.  In any given year, about twenty to thirty of our chapter members actively participate in meetings, volunteer opportunities, or leadership roles.  Our chapter has two orientation sessions, two inductions, and numerous volunteer opportunities every year.

What do you get from being an active member? First of all, you will have the opportunity to get letter of recommendation from our advisor of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, which is very good for transfer college or scholarship. Second, if you have enough 24 service hours, you can have get regalias for Phi Theta Kappa member in graduation ceremony. Third, you will have chance to better our community with scholarship research and activities. Last but not least, we never forget to have fun. You will have a blast working with our officer team.
