The Chapter is continuing to look for new officers!
Alpha Omicron Beta is
still looking for a few new officers--and as many volunteers as
we can get. Right now, we still need one Co-vice presidents.
We also are looking for volunteers. If you are
interested in being an officer, come to one of our meetings.

Officers and volunteers get
to add their service to their resumes and sometimes qualify for better
scholarships at transfer colleges. In addition, officers (and
sometimes volunteers with extra service) get to attend, free of
charge, regional (3 per yr.) and international (1 per yr.) conventions
and meetings.
The best parts are working with
fun, intelligent people and helping our chapter, our college, and our
surrounding communities. This year, for example, our Honors Project
is to examine three small, remote villages in West Africa (Sierra Leone)
and then help raise money toward a well for one of them. We also will
be completing two highway clean-ups on a nearby state road, along with other
service and fellowship events on campus.
