We have a number of officer positions available, even in mid- or late semester for those interested in serving regularly. We use a 1st- and 2nd-officer method: i.e., the "1st VP (Vice President) of Fellowship" is someone who can make meetings regularly; he or she works closely with the "2nd VP of Fellowship," who may be someone who can't attend meetings but wants to help. Being an officer is a great way to not only serve your school and community but also to improve your resume and help yourself get more and better scholarships. (Some of our officers and members have qualified for college transfer scholarships of up to $50,000 per year, in part or whole because of their Phi Theta Kappa membership and/or service.)
