Hallmarks
Hallmarks are the
foundation that the Phi Theta Kappa organization is built on.
The four hallmarks are Scholarship. Leadership, Service and
Fellowship.
Leadership:
The Leadership Hallmark consists of activities in which the
chapter assumes leadership roles on campus, in the community and
within Phi Theta Kappa. Other activities often includes a
chapter has promoting the development of leadership skills for
members and others on campus and in the community.
Scholarship:
The primary focus of the Scholarship Hallmark is the
Implementation of the current Honors Study Topic. Other
activities include tutoring, mentoring, and projects recognizing
scholarship among students and/or faculty.
Service:
The Service Hallmark includes the International Service Program
as the primary focus and other service activities involving
campus, community and/or other chapters in or beyond the region.
Fellowship:
The Fellowship Hallmark focuses on reaching out and
including chapter members, other chapters in Phi Theta Kappa,
others on campus and in the community into projects and events.
The Fellowship Hallmark is incorporated into activities of the
other three hallmarks and integrates the activities of the
organization.
