Hallmarks

Hallmarks are the foundation that the Phi Theta Kappa organization is built on. The four hallmarks are Scholarship. Leadership, Service and Fellowship.

Leadership: The Leadership Hallmark consists of activities in which the chapter assumes leadership roles on campus, in the community and within Phi Theta Kappa. Other activities often includes a chapter has promoting the development of leadership skills for members and others on campus and in the community.

Scholarship: The primary focus of the Scholarship Hallmark is the Implementation of the current Honors Study Topic. Other activities include tutoring, mentoring, and projects recognizing scholarship among students and/or faculty.

Service: The Service Hallmark includes the International Service Program as the primary focus and other service activities involving campus, community and/or other chapters in or beyond the region.

Fellowship: The Fellowship Hallmark focuses on reaching out and including chapter members, other chapters in Phi Theta Kappa, others on campus and in the community into projects and events. The Fellowship Hallmark is incorporated into activities of the other three hallmarks and integrates the activities of the organization.
